Take advantage of our beautiful weather to enjoy a new lineup of outdoor activities, including pumpkin patches, sports, and seasonal events.
Pumpkin patches
Moore Pumpkin Patch. Open 10/4/26 through 10/31/26. Free admission and parking; bounce houses are $5 per attraction. San Ramon.
G&M Farms. Open 10/2/26 through 10/31/26. Features farm animals and a straw maze, with additional activities on weekends. Admission is free, corn maze is $10, and all other attractions are $5 each. Livermore.
Joan's Farm & Pumpkin Patch. Open 10/2/26 through 10/31/26. Activities include a maze, pumpkin bowling, a train, and an inflatable slide. Admission is free, parking is $5, activities are $5 each or $25 for an unlimited wristband. Livermore.
Three Nunns Farm. Open 9/24/26 through 11/1/26, from 9am–8pm. Features a tractor ride, corn mazes, petting zoo, carnival rides, and more. $12–15 per person (some attractions are priced separately); children under 2 are free. Brentwood.
Smith Family Farm. Open 9/26/26 through 11/1/26. Includes live entertainment, animal encounters, and a children’s corn maze. Brentwood.

Walnut Creek Oktoberfest. Friday, September 25, 5–10pm and Saturday, September 26, 12–9pm. Activities include live music, food and beverages for purchase, and a Kinder Carnival with purchase of a kids zone pass. RSVP for free admission. Walnut Creek.
Pumpkin Dunkin. Friday, October 2, 5–7pm. A floating pumpkin patch, followed by decorating, lawn games, and free swim. Admission is $5–7 per person and pumpkins are $5 each. Rankin Aquatic Center.
Clayton Oktoberfest. Saturday, October 3, 11am–8pm and Sunday, October 4, 11am–6pm. Music, carnival, food, and drinks. Clayton.
Fratello Marionettes: Spooktacular Show. Tuesday, October 6, 6:30–7:30pm. A Halloween-themed puppet show for the kids. Pleasant Hill Library.
Fleet Week Air Show. Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11, 12:00–4:00pm. Watch the Blue Angels and more! San Francisco.
Harvest Festival. Saturday, October 10, 11am–9pm. A new fall community event with live music, food, drinks, and family activities. Pleasant Hill.
Floating Pumpkin Patch. Saturday, October 10, 1:30–3:30pm. Swim through the shallow lanes to find the perfect pumpkin. Concord Community Pool.
Pumpkin Splash. Sunday, October 11, 1:30–3pm. Jump into a floating pumpkin patch, pick a pumpkin, and decorate it. $18 for Pleasant Hill residents, $22.50 for everyone else. Pleasant Hill Aquatic Park.
County Fair Festival at Christ the King. Friday, October 16, 4–9:30pm and Saturday, October 17, 2–8pm. Music, games, and food.
Walnut Creek Trunk or Treat. Friday, October 23, 3–6pm. Activities, games, and candy. A low sensory hour is offered from 3–4pm. Civic Park.
Haunted Trail. Friday, October 23, 5–7pm. Come in costume to trick or treat. Free to attend at Pleasant Hill Park.
Carnoween. October 24, 11am–3pm. A school fundraiser and community event with a costume parade, carnival games, and other kids activities. Pleasant Hill Elementary School
GatorFest. Wednesday, October 28, 5:30–7:30pm. A school fundraiser carnival. Free admission, pay for activities. Gregory Gardens Elementary School.
